TEKsystems is hiring a Data Center Cable Technician / Low Voltage Installer in New Albany, OH. The role involves installing and routing data center cabling, terminating copper and fiber, and supporting critical technology infrastructure on a full-time basis with overtime opportunities.

Ideal candidates have experience in construction or related fields, strong reliability, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Work is on-site with 10-hour shifts and Monday-Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and patch network equipment.
• Terminate, label, and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Install cable pathways, supports, and conduit.
• Read and follow blueprints, floor plans, and project drawings.
• Assist with telecommunications room buildouts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Support the installation of critical technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of low-voltage or structured cabling experience
• Experience pulling Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, or fiber optic cable
• Data center experience
• Fiber installation experience
• Cable termination and testing experience
• OSHA 10 certification
• BICSI or Fiber certifications
• Telecommunications or electrical experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
