Job summary

TEKsystems in New Albany, OH is seeking an Entry-Level Data Center Low Voltage Technician to support installation, routing, labeling, and organization of network cabling while assisting experienced technicians in a fast-paced data center.

This contract-to-hire role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Onsite work with safety and daily tasks; compensation between $23 and $26 per hour.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • No prior data center experience required.
  • Experience in construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or other hands-on environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Data Center Low Voltage Technician (Entry-Level) Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Data Center Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in telecommunications, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or data center operations. The technician will assist with installing, routing, labeling, and organizing network cabling while supporting experienced technicians in a fast-paced data center environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
