Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks a Low Observable Coater - Specialty Coatings to apply advanced coatings for aircraft components, ensuring low-observable characteristics and high-quality finishes.

You will operate robotic coating systems, read and interpret specifications, plan finish applications, and collaborate with manufacturing to deliver precise, durable coatings on parts, assemblies, and test articles.

Qualifications

• Two years of similar RAM coatings experience including application and finishing of aircraft components.
• Ability to read and interpret complex assembly blueprints.
• Active Security Clearance or approved Interim clearance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret laboratory, engineering, and manufacturing process specifications and plan the sequence of operations for finish applications.
• Set up and operate robotic coating application equipment and position parts/assemblies for finishing.
• Operate robotic and manual coating systems, identify problems, and initiate corrective actions.
• Mix coatings to specified proportions and verify viscosity/temperature as required.
