Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Low Observable Technician to join the LO team. You will prepare, mix, and apply RAM and LO coatings to composite and metallic airframes, ensuring tight tolerances and aerospace quality.

This hands-on role requires operating spray equipment, following MIL-specs, and maintaining detailed records in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes production readiness, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety standards while supporting national security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of experience applying coatings in a production or research setting.
• Proficiency with HVLP and conventional spray equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and MIL-spec documents.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to wear full PPE and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply LO coatings, RAM and aerospace primers/topcoats to composites and metals.
• Perform surface prep of carbon fiber/epoxy and metallic structures.
• Mix multi-component coating systems per specs with correct ratios and viscosity.
• Apply coatings via HVLP/conventional spray; perform film thickness and adhesion checks.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment, booths, and curing ovens.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and MIL-specs; maintain records.
• Support development of new LO coating processes with engineering teams.
• Perform rework and repairs of nonconforming coatings.
• Identify process improvements and support lean manufacturing.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and quality compliance and meet schedule commitments.
