Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one+ years of experience.
• Able to work on systems with unusual ergonomic conditions.
• Knowledge of computer operations and field-related applications.
• Able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Good written and verbal communication to record precise information.
• Experience with low-observable materials, mixing ratios and application.
• Familiarity with paint mixing, sealant application, and masking techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and handling hazardous materials.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply material for aerodynamic smoothing and flushness.
• Cut materials to dimensions and bond to surfaces within tolerances.
• Surface prep of composites and metals using sanding, masking, testing.
• Mix and apply sealants and fillers prior to painting.
• Repair damaged coatings with precise material application.
• Prepare and spray paints and coatings to spec.
• Identify surface defects and apply aerodynamic fillers to seams.
• Coordinate component-level testing to verify standards.
• Support aircraft build, modification, or maintenance activities.
