Midpoint Markets is seeking a Software Developer to strengthen our core engineering team. You will focus on the reliability, scalability, and performance of our trading and research infrastructure.

The role entails designing high‑performance backend services, building crypto exchange integrations, and developing monitoring, alerting, and dashboards to ensure 24/7 uptime while collaborating with quantitative developers and traders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Broad experience with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python; C++ preferred.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, automated checks, monitoring, analytics, and alerts.
• Self-starter who identifies bottlenecks and implements solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Build and optimize integrations with crypto exchanges.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and failover systems for 24/7 uptime.
• Create dashboards and frameworks for trading and research teams.
