Job summary

Summit Securities Group is seeking a driven C++ Software Engineer to join the Core Engineering team. You will architect low-latency, high-throughput systems that power live trading and collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders.

You will own execution logic, order matching, and venue gateways while optimizing for microsecond-scale performance in a Linux environment, with onsite collaboration four days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with increasing technical complexity.
• Expertise in modern C++ on Linux, memory management and concurrency.
• Willingness to be onsite 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and own trading systems from design to deployment.
• Engineer for extreme performance with real-time data processing.
• Build and maintain order matching and execution logic across venues.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to iterate on signals.
• Drive architectural excellence and modern C++ practices across the codebase.
