Request Technology, LLC is seeking an experienced C++ professional to architect, develop, and maintain low-latency trading applications and market access systems in modern C++. You will collaborate with traders, quants, and researchers to implement and evaluate algorithmic trading strategies across multiple venues worldwide.

The role emphasizes performance, scalability, and reliability, with responsibilities spanning the full software lifecycle from design to production support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing performance-critical software in modern C++.
• Strong knowledge of multi-threading, memory management and network programming.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and network tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain low-latency trading applications and market access systems.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and researchers to implement algorithmic strategies.
• Implement trading algos and research ideas in the internal framework.
• Design exchange connectivity, order routing, and market data handlers across venues.
• Optimize systems for speed, throughput, and reliability with profiling and tuning.
• Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle from requirements to production support.
