Job summary

ENVENTION is seeking mid-level software engineers to join our Huntsville team, developing low-latency C++ applications on Linux and real-time middleware for the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).

You will implement RTI DDS messaging, process sensor and tracking data from sources like Sentinel A3/A4, and work within SAFe/SCRUM practices to deliver high-assurance combat software onsite in Huntsville, AL. Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of software engineering on Linux with modern C++.
• Hands-on experience with RTI DDS or similar middleware.
• Technical experience with sensor processing, tracking, or radar data handling.
• Experience in Agile environments (SAFe/SCRUM) using Atlassian tools.
• Must work onsite in Huntsville, AL and hold DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop Low-Latency C++ software in Linux environments.
• Implement Real-Time Innovations DDS messaging for distributed nodes.
• Process sensor and tracking data to maintain composite track.
• Integrate CID logic for rapid threat discrimination.
• Collaborate in SAFe/SCRUM using Jira/Confluence to plan increments.
• Perform system integration and testing with hardware interfaces.
