ENVENTION in Huntsville, AL is seeking mid-level software engineers to strengthen our C2 and IBCS capabilities. You'll design and optimize Java-based algorithms, build for Linux, and contribute to mission-critical engagement planning and execution systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering in Java developing enterprise or tactical apps.
- Linux development experience.
- Experience with algorithm design for complex decision systems.
- Experience in Agile environments using Jira/Confluence.
- Available to work full-time onsite in Huntsville, AL.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop core C2 algorithms in Java for air defense engagement planning.
- Build and deploy software in Linux enterprise and tactical environments.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM and SAFe release trains.
- Incorporate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD and security automation.
- Use Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket for traceability and collaboration.
- Collaborate with testers, systems engineers, and domain experts to integrate modules.
