Job summary

Davidson Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Jr. to Mid-Level Software Engineer to support the ISL team on the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) infrastructure.

You will collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to design, test, and sustain mission-critical C2 software used by warfighters around the world. In this role, you will contribute to Java and C++ development, scripting (Bash, Perl, Python), Linux-based environments, and CI/CD with Git/GitLab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required for Jr. level; 2+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years for Mid-Level; Master's 3+ years or PhD with 0+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ required.
• Strong software development experience in Java and C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications for Global C2 missions.
• Participate in SAFe Scrum teams to develop software across baselines.
• Perform development and upgrades in multiple languages while preserving behavior.
• Provide sustainment support: logs, RTI/DDS config, data recording, and IDL mgmt.
