Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Walton, KY, seeks a Sustainability & Energy Systems Engineer to lead Low Energy and Low Carbon initiatives across the site, develop KPIs, manage reports, and collaborate with global teams to cut energy use and emissions.

You will drive ISO50001 certification, oversee energy metering systems, support capital projects, and ensure compliance with Safran standards, while building strong internal relationships and reporting to site directors.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in engineering required; Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical preferred.
• 3+ years experience in energy and carbon management or related fields.
• Experience with boilers, steam systems and energy systems.
• Strong planning, leadership and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Low Energy and Low Carbon activities and manage projects for reduction of energy consumption and carbon emissions.
• Coordinate site Low Energy initiatives and KPI reporting with global teams.
• Lead ISO50001 certification efforts and energy management programs.
• Develop and track energy metering and targets with Capital Projects.
• Prepare and present site progress reports at global meetings.
