Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years in a technical or leadership role.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with TPM program and tracking OEE/MTBF.
  • Ensure equipment and facility compliance with codes.
  • Experience with PLC, CNC, and microprocessor-based systems.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assign work and oversee Maintenance activities
  • Develop and implement plans toward comprehensive training for Maintenance employees
  • Primary responsibility for establishing short-term maintenance plans for all manufacturing equipment and associated utility systems to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
  • Submit and support continuous improvement ideas in order to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Ensure maintenance resources – skills, people, and tools – are adequate to support preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as addressing unplanned equipment failures immediately to minimize operational disruptions
  • Be a proactive leader in the utilization and improvement of the TPM system
  • Act as administrator of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Manage small scale projects in conjunction with engineering
  • Coach and assist maintenance staff with technical activities
  • Perform other related duties as required

  • Utilizing and/or managing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, including development and tracking of equipment reliability measures such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), among others
  • Ensuring equipment and facility compliance to applicable federal, state, and local codes
  • Troubleshooting PLC, CNC, and microprocessor-based systems
