Job summary

Sanofi in Swiftwater, PA seeks a Utilities Engineer to support Central Utilities infrastructure—electrical, boilers, chillers, water and wastewater systems—and collaborate with site teams on maintenance, project design reviews, and commissioning activities.

The role also develops and executes sustainability programs aligned with Sanofi Planet Care, strengthens regulatory compliance, and contributes to ISO 50001 efforts across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fields
• 1+ years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, QA, Engineering, utilities engineering or related fields
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical system drawings
• Understanding mechanical and thermodynamic engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Support operations and maintenance of the site utilities mechanical and electrical infrastructure
• Review and collaborate on new projects interfacing with site central utilities, including design reviews and maintenance planning
• Support lifecycle management of utility assets and PM reviews/modifications to improve operation and uptime
• Review utility system performance for efficiency, reliability, and environmental compliance
• Ensure regulatory compliance and good documentation practices for data analysis
• Promote a strong Maintenance Safety Culture for safe task execution
• Collaborate with Site Engineering to develop and manage Engineering Standards Site Sustainability
• Develop and execute sustainability programs aligned with Sanofi Planet Care and energy reduction goals
• Align programs with HSE management systems and participate in ISO 50001 site sustainability audits and COP network
