Cadmus seeks an Energy Engineer to join its Energy Services Division. You will lead energy projects for clients, conducting site inspections, data collection, and analysis to support decarbonization efforts with rigorous modeling and reporting.

The role emphasizes strong written and verbal communication, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff while delivering high-quality work on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of professional energy sector experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with initiative to work independently and mentor others.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness for regular domestic travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead site visits to support energy projects and document building conditions.
• Analyze data using Excel, Python, or R; identify trends and impacts.
• Quantify impacts of energy interventions and perform ROI analyses.
• Support projects across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, PV, BESS, EV, and more.
• Prepare findings and present to clients, stakeholders, and teams.
• Engage clients to scope needs and build partnerships.
• Manage self and communicate progress to leadership; balance workload.
• Lead small teams of consultants and ensure quality, budget, and schedule alignment.
• Support business development and proposal writing with budget and content.
