Job summary

HireLifeScience’s Elkton site seeks a Process Engineer - Energy & Sustainability to advance energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and sustainable operations within the Facilities Center of Excellence. You will apply mass/energy balances, lead FEED studies, develop capital project business cases, coordinate LEED activities, and partner with procurement and finance on utility contracts.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and at least five years’ related

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related process engineering or energy/sustainability optimization experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Model, diagnose, and optimize site utility, manufacturing, and wastewater systems.
• Lead FEED studies and capital project business cases; coordinate LEED certification efforts.
• Manage energy budgets and liaise with utility providers and government agencies; monitor energy policy updates.
