Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Lot Operations Specialist II for an on-site role in Indianapolis. You will lead and coordinate drivers, manage vehicle movements, and ensure timely pickup and drop-off of personnel and vehicles.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license and basic mechanical skills. Safety and efficiency are emphasized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years’ related experience.
• Safe driver with valid license and ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and routine vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers about job duties and assist in directing work.
• Communicate with supervisor to ensure proper vehicle flow and track stock numbers.
• Schedule and assign crew; manage vans and transport drivers to locations.
• Shuttle employees to parking lots and remote sites; transport vehicles as scheduled.
• Conduct daily maintenance and checks of the vans and supplies.
• Enforce safety policies and support safety initiatives with the manager.
• Review workloads, plan staffing, and monitor performance against KPIs.
