Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring for a Lot Operations Specialist II to support vehicle movements, driver coordination, and lot management on a day shift. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and strong teamwork across the site.

Expect responsibilities that include directing drivers, maintaining vehicle logs, and ensuring timely transport of staff and vehicles to designated locations. The position emphasizes safety and efficiency within Cox’s valued environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience, OR 5 years of related work experience.
• Safe driver's needed; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their job duties and assist supervisor in assigning and directing the work of employees.
• Communicate with supervisor or manager to assure proper flow of vehicles and maintain log of stock numbers for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
• Communicate schedules and assignments to the crew members.
• Manage vans and transport drivers to locations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees and vehicles by transporting them according to schedule to their proper work destinations.
