Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to manage daily vehicle flow, driver coordination, and logistics at a Cox location. You will direct crew activities, coordinate vehicle movements, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

The role emphasizes hands-on lot operations, vehicle transport, and schedule management, with a strong focus on efficiency and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required, with 3 years’ related experience or alternative combination with higher degree/certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Physically demanding role with the ability to lift at least 15 lbs.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers on job duties and assist supervisor in directing work.
• Maintain log of stock numbers for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
• Coordinate move requirements with lot manager and quadrant coordinator.
• Lead the lane during sale days and supervise crew assignments.
• Transport vans and drivers to locations, ensuring timely pickups and drops.
• Shuttle employees to parking lots and remote sites, and assist with vehicle servicing and routine checks.
