Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II for day shift at our Indianapolis location. You will orient and instruct new drivers and assist in assigning work, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of employees and vehicles.

Responsibilities include leading the team, maintaining safety, coordinating shuttle runs, and monitoring workload to improve efficiency. We offer competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 3 years’ related experience.
• Alternate combination: higher degree/certification in related discipline or 5 years’ related field experience.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers on duties and assist supervisor in assigning work.
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with crew; manage van transport for employees and vehicles.
• Lead location team, enforce safety, review performance and drive improvements.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance and checks; ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• May require overtime based on business needs.
