Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to supervise and guide a driver crew at a Cox location in Riverside, CA. The role includes directing daily vehicle movements, coordinating van transport, and ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of staff and vehicles.

The position emphasizes safety compliance, shift coordination, and collaboration with the Market Safety Manager to uphold Cox standards.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• Alternative: a higher degree/certification in a related discipline with additional years of relevant work.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their job duties and assist supervisor in assigning and directing the work of employees.
• Coordinate with supervisor to ensure smooth vehicle flow and log stock numbers for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
• Communicate schedules and assignments to crew members.
• Manage vans and transport drivers to locations and ensure timely pick-up/drop-off of employees and vehicles.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance; accompany safety protocols and reporting.
