Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Lot Attendant in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet customers by name, assist in the parking area, and help direct traffic to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere.

The role requires strong customer service experience; parking industry experience is helpful but not required. The position is part-time, with hours varying 9am–4pm, Monday through Saturday, and includes on-demand access to earned wages and a referral bonus for new hires.

Job Description:

Greet customers by name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.

• Assist customers in the parking area, lanes, and in the parking office; help direct traffic.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude.
• Oversee general maintenance of the garage - sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, etc.
• Maintain and repair any malfunctioning parking equipment to ensure appropriate access to customers.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience:

Strong customer service experience. Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
