Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail required in asset tracking and audits.
• Basic computer proficiency including spreadsheets for reporting.
• Familiarity with CCTV and access control is a plus.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive material.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage routine administrative tasks independently.
• Willingness to learn investigative fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in asset identification, tagging, numbering and tracking for lifecycle accountability.
• Assist in periodic physical inventories and asset verification audits across facilities.
• Identify and investigate missing, unaccounted-for, damaged, or misused assets and coordinate corrective actions.
• Help implement controls to reduce asset loss, theft, and damage.
• Ensure accountability for assets and proper sign-out, transfer, and handling procedures.
• Reconcile physical inventories with fixed asset records and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate to maintain minimum security for high-value assets, including CCTV and access controls.
• Gather documentation and evidence for investigations; monitor CCTV for suspicious activity.
• Maintain investigation case files and activity logs; support interviews under supervision.
• Prepare routine reports on shrink, incidents, and audits; maintain KPI tracking spreadsheets and dashboards.
