Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks a Loss Prevention Specialist to mitigate external theft and fraud in its Philadelphia-area stores. The role collaborates with the Sr. Area Loss Prevention Manager, Ross Investigative & Safety Center and store leadership to support customers and protect assets.

The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced retail environment, maintains safety standards, and coordinates with local law enforcement on incidents. Prior LP or security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners including law enforcement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to make quality judgments with urgency.
• Experience in Loss Prevention, security, or retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate external theft and fraud by monitoring store activity and coordinating with leadership and law enforcement.
• Identify theft indicators and provide evidence of incidents to local authorities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement to resolve theft incidents with prior approval.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by addressing hazards and procedures.
• Develop partnerships with store leadership and operational partners and provide incident recaps.
