Job summary

The Finish Line, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to protect employees and facilities across our distribution center, Customer Care call center, and corporate office. You will monitor access, conduct investigations, and perform audits to reduce shrink and ensure safety.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in loss prevention or security, with proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint or Google Workspace. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of related loss prevention or security experience preferred.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint or Google Suite equivalents.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of employees.
• Oversee access into and out of facilities.
• Conduct investigations and interviews related to theft and safety incidents.
• Monitor alarm and camera equipment to ensure policy adherence.
• Develop partnerships to support shrink control and inventory management.
• Analyze data via Exception Based Reporting to detect dishonesty and threats.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety policies.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly audits.
• Investigate safety and security issues.
• Assist other loss prevention staff on investigations.
