Job summary

The Finish Line, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard employees and assets across multiple facilities including the distribution center, contact center, and corporate offices.

You will monitor access, conduct investigations, and use alarm and camera systems to enforce safety and security policies. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, plus a willingness to collaborate with field teams and leadership to reduce shrink and protect inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of related loss prevention or security experience preferred.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google Suite equivalents.
• Must be an effective communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels; professional in spoken and written communication.
• Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and make informed decisions following established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

## Loss Prevention OfficerApply: FL: Customer Central - Indianapolis, Indiana: Full time: Posted Today: JR137852The Loss Prevention Officer works cross-functionally to provide a safe, secure and low shrink workplace in all facilities including the distribution center, Customer Care call center, and Customer Central corporate office by performing the following main duties:* Ensures safety of employees.* Oversees access into and out of facilities.* Conducts investigations and interviews related to theft and safety incidents* Monitors alarm and camera equipment to ensure adherence to physical security policies and procedures.* Creating effective partnerships both in the field and at Customer Central that can be leveraged to achieve the Company’s goals, such as shrink control, inventory.* Through Exception Based Reporting (XBR), analyzes data to determine internal dishonesty and threats* Monitors employee compliance to safety policies and procedures.* Completes daily, weekly, and monthly audits.* Investigates safety and security issues.* Assists other loss prevention staff on store related investigations and interviews.* Additional duties and projects as required.**Required Education and/or Experience**High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional 1 - 2 years of related experience in a loss prevention or security capacity preferred.**Required Computer and/or Technical Skills**Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google Suite equivalents.**Core Competencies:**Communication SkillsMust be an effective communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels.
