The Finish Line, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to protect employees and facilities across our distribution center, Customer Care call center, and corporate office. You will monitor access, conduct investigations, and perform audits to reduce shrink and ensure safety.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in loss prevention or security, with proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint or Google Workspace. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
The Loss Prevention Officer works cross-functionally to provide a safe, secure and low shrink workplace in all facilities including the distribution center, Customer Care call center, and Customer Central corporate office by performing the following main duties:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional 1 - 2 years of related experience in a loss prevention or security capacity preferred.
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google Suite equivalents.
Communication Skills
Must be an effective communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels. This includes spoken, written, electronic, and presentation skills. Communication should be consistently constructive and professional.
Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to analyze results at a micro and macro level and present findings. Makes routine decisions following established policies and procedures; collaborates with manager to gain assistance when complex issues arise.
