Job summary

The Finish Line is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead in New York to oversee LP and Safety within the assigned area, demonstrating the company’s values in customer, people, winning, community, and financial responsibility through surveillance, policy enforcement, and incident reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with LP teams, training staff, maintaining security systems, and investigating incidents.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1+ year LP, security, or store management experience.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office or Google Suite.
Ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Conduct surveillance and apprehension of external theft suspects in compliance with standards.
Complete checklists to ensure safety and LP policy compliance.
Promote awareness programs related to shrink and operational controls.
Assist with internal theft investigations with LP Supervisor and RLPM.
Identify and report merchandise or stock shortages.
Maintain case records on security and injury-related incidents.
Verify and inspect access points and security systems for proper functioning.
Report safety concerns or possible violations.
Train employees on systems, procedures, policies, and accident prevention.
