Job summary

ShopRite of Emerson is seeking a Store Detective to protect store assets and provide a safe shopping environment. You will monitor for theft, utilize loss-prevention tools, and engage with customers to ensure a positive experience.

The role requires strong English skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work with a team. This on-site position offers benefits and opportunities within ShopRite’s Emerson store.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Able to travel to multiple store locations if needed.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Detect and apprehend suspected thefts in a professional manner.
• Utilize Loss Prevention tools and CCTV to protect assets.
• Represent the company in investigations and coordinate with Store Management.
• Maintain security and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
