Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks a Loss Prevention Specialist to protect people, assets and the Ross treasure.

You will be the visible presence at store entrances/exits, greet customers, and work with Store Leadership to deter theft while maintaining a safe shopping environment. You will train and educate Associates on shortage reduction, monitor activities on the sales floor, and support Loss Prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for associates and customers.
• Provide visible presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor in issued vest attire.
• Monitor for potential safety issues and assist Store Leadership with Loss Prevention directives.
• Greet customers with eye contact and professionalism while delivering excellent service.
• Assist in minimizing operational shortage and ensuring proper checkout procedures.
