Job summary

Burlington Round Rock is seeking a Part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and help reduce theft while upholding company standards.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service or loss prevention, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends. Base pay is $14.00 per hour with associate benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high‑risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and energetic greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and stay aware of surroundings.
