Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. operates HomeGoods and other brands across the United States. The Lubbock store is hiring a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, deter shrink, and support store teams and Loss Prevention.

You will engage customers, follow checkout procedures, and promote a safe, welcoming shopping environment while meeting daily goals. Hours are flexible and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Supports a positive customer shopping experience and maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention.
• Provides timely, courteous and knowledgeable service to customers.
• Engages customers, providing support and creating a positive shopping environment.
• Observes accurate checkout procedures for customers and Associates.
• Communicates shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss Prevention.
• Maintains an effective partnership with Store Management and Loss Prevention to accomplish work assignments and overall goals.
