Job summary

TJ Maxx in Dayton, OH is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft, support store management, and help maintain a safe shopping environment. The role involves standing at the front of the store, wearing a body worn camera, and following the Store Emergency Response Guide.

You will greet customers, refer requests to management, observe suspicious behavior, and document incidents in AIIM Case Management.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods.
• 0–2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Acts as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete Company uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Respond to customer requests by routing to management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Complete a closing safety sweep of the store with management.
