Job summary

TJ Maxx in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a Store Associate focused on loss prevention and customer safety. You will stand at the front of the store, wear a Body Worn Camera, greet customers, and refer questions to management.

This role supports the District Loss Prevention Manager, maintains store security, reports incidents, and helps protect the company brand. The starting pay ranges from $13.50 to $18.60 per hour, with eligibility for benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Sound decision making skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss.
• Wear a Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers courteously and refer requests to management or customer service.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Perform closing safety sweep with a member of management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
