Job summary

TJ Maxx in Cambridge, MA is seeking an entry-level Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft, support store management, and ensure a safe customer experience. You will wear a body worn camera, greet customers, and partner with management to protect the company brand.

This role requires strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to stand for long periods. 0–2 years retail or security experience is acceptable, with training provided; starting pay is $16.25–$18.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a proper and professional stance at the front of the store
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide
• Wear a Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect
• Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via radio
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents
• Perform a closing safety sweep with management
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management
• Perform other duties as assigned
