Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
Must pass salesperson license exam within 60 days where required by state/local municipality.

Responsibilities

Coach and train associates on shrink awareness and theft deterrence.
Partner with Store and AP Leadership to identify theft trends and promote awareness.
Deliver SMART customer service and ensure associates have resources to do the same.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-risk areas to maintain a safe store environment.
Detect theft, fraud, and policy violations using surveillance and reporting tools.
Conduct external theft apprehensions and interviews per laws and policy.
Investigate criminal activity, maintain case files, and support law enforcement.
Assist in internal investigations and provide evidence when needed.
Validate security measures and respond to EAS and alarms.
Provide feedback on audit findings to minimize shrink and risk.
Respond to potentially violent situations with safety and composure.
