Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loss Mitigation Single Point of Contact to assist borrowers facing hardship. You will serve as the primary liaison for loss mitigation options, coordinate document collection, and document communications within the servicing system.

Responsibilities include explaining outcomes, assisting with negotiations such as forbearance or short-sale, and maintaining accuracy in all compliance-related processes. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's preferred in finance or business.
• Experience in mortgage loss mitigation or related regulatory environments is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication with borrowers and teams.
• Ability to handle high volumes with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for Loss Mitigation activities with borrowers.
• Explain loss mitigation options and guide applicants through the process.
• Coordinate document collection and maintain accurate servicing system records.
• Communicate approval/denial decisions and monitor trial payment plans.
