This role requires 2–4 years in collections, a high school diploma, and proficiency with skip tracing tools and servicing systems; a customer-focused, empathetic approach is valued.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in late-stage collections, loss mitigation, delinquency management, or account recovery.
• Experience performing skip tracing to locate customers and update contact information.
• Automotive finance or financial services experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with skip tracing tools and servicing systems.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills to identify next steps within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of delinquent accounts from 80 days past due to charge-off.
• Conduct account research and negotiations to mitigate losses and support resolutions.
• Perform skip tracing to locate customers and verify contact information.
• Document activity in servicing systems and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve complex account issues and improve outcomes.
• Adhere to defined procedures, controls, and performance standards.
