Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in late-stage collections, loss mitigation, delinquency management, or account recovery.
• Experience performing skip tracing and using skip tracing tools to locate customers.
• Experience in automotive finance, consumer lending, banking, or financial services preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of late-stage collections and delinquency management.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of delinquent accounts from 80 days past due to charge-off.
• Conduct account research, make customer contact, and perform skip tracing to obtain updated contact information.
• Negotiate repayment arrangements and loss mitigation solutions within approved guidelines.
• Document all activity in servicing systems to ensure compliance and support future collection efforts.
• Collaborate with internal partners and escalate complex issues as needed.
