Job summary

Preferred Reports is seeking experienced loss control inspectors to conduct interior and exterior inspections for residential and commercial properties across a nationwide network. As an approved vendor, you will be contracted to perform inspections in your coverage area with no licensing required.

Vendors work independently, are paid per inspection, and receive weekly payments upon order completion. You must supply your own equipment and have reliable transport, with a flexible schedule to meet

Qualifications

• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Preferably one years’ experience completing interior/exterior residential insurance loss control surveys and reports & 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Own a computer with the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system and high-speed internet access.
• Must have reliable car with ability to cover a wide territory on an as needed basis, if required.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document any hazards/controls that are found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report / photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
