We partner with world-class distributors, retailers, restaurants, and hospitality groups to build brands through disciplined execution, strategic partnerships, and exceptional customer relationships.

Our Market Managers are business leaders who own their territory, drive commercial growth, and represent our brands with passion and professionalism.

The Market Manager will represent the following brand portfolio Cincoro Tequila, Sonrisa Rum, Glendalough Gin and Whiskeys, Celosa Tequila, Kuleana Rum Works, Tepozan Tequila, Zephyr Gin, and Cumbre de la Vida Ready to Drink canned cocktails.

Position Summary

The Los Angeles Market Manager is responsible for developing and executing market strategies that drive sustainable sales growth across assigned territories. This role serves as the primary liaison between Craft & Art, brand and distributor partners, and key retail and on-premise customers.

Success in this position requires strong business planning, distributor management, account development, analytical skills, and the ability to execute with urgency while building long-term partnerships.

The Market Manager owns market performance and is accountable for delivering volume, distribution, execution, and brand-building objectives.

Territory entails Los Angeles County and Central Coast.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong partnerships with distributor leadership and sales teams.
  • Conduct regular distributor work-withs across on- and off-premise channels.
  • Lead distributor sales meetings, ride-withs, market blitzes, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure sales priorities are clearly communicated and consistently executed.
  • Build monthly and quarterly business plans with distributor partners.
  • Identify pipeline opportunities and maintain a healthy sales funnel.
  • Monitor distributor inventories, depletion trends, and programming execution.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Distributor Managers to maximize execution.
Account Development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Build relationships with retailers, restaurants, bars, hotels, and chain accounts.
  • Secure new distribution, menu placements, displays, features, and promotional activity.
  • Execute staff training, consumer tastings, and educational events.
  • Develop annual account plans for strategic customers.
  • Maintain a consistent market presence through scheduled account visits.
Sales & Business Management
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual volume goals.
  • Develop territory business plans with measurable objectives.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Track KPIs and execution metrics through company reporting systems.
  • Provide weekly updates on business performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Recommend solutions to overcome market challenges.
Brand Execution
  • Execute national and regional marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure proper merchandising standards and brand visibility.
  • Support chain programming and promotional calendars.
  • Coordinate sampling events and consumer activations.
  • Protect brand standards across all channels.
  • Monitor pricing, competitive activity, and market trends.
Territory Management
  • Develop efficient weekly market schedules.
  • Prioritizing activities based on business impact.
  • Submit expenses and reports accurately and on time.
  • Maintain CRM, KPI, and sales reporting requirements.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly.
Preferred Experience
  • Supplier or distributor sales experience.
  • Experience managing premium spirits brands.
  • On-premise and off-premise sales experience.
