Next Level Valet is seeking a friendly Bell Person / Lobby Ambassador for The Driskill in Austin, TX. The role blends traditional bell services with lobby guest assistance to welcome guests and ensure exceptional service throughout their stay.

The ideal candidate is attentive, proactive, dependable, and maintains a visible lobby presence, ready to assist and anticipate guest needs.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, bellman, valet, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry guest luggage safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and navigate stairs throughout the shift.
• Willingness to assist guests and team members whenever needed.

Responsibilities

• Morning Shift – Lobby Staircase (Upper Level): maintain presence at the top of the lobby stairs, assist with luggage, escort guests to front desk or valet, and help with deliveries.
• Afternoon Shift – Lobby Staircase (Lower Level): welcome guests, assist with luggage, direct to front desk, and assist with general guest needs.
• Provide directions and proactively offer assistance to guests throughout the lobby.

Job Description

Next Level Valet is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Bell Person / Lobby Ambassador to join our hospitality team.

This position combines traditional bell services with lobby guest assistance, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay.

The ideal candidate is attentive, proactive, dependable, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires someone who maintains a visible presence in the lobby, anticipates guest needs, and is always ready to assist.

Preferred Availability

We are ideally looking for candidates who can accommodate the following schedule:

Sunday: Morning

Monday: Open Availability (All Day)

Tuesday: Open Availability (All Day)

Thursday: Morning

Friday: Morning

Saturday: Morning

Key Responsibilities

Morning Shift – Lobby Staircase (Upper Level)

Maintain a consistent presence at the top of the main lobby staircase.

Assist departing guests with carrying luggage down the stairs.

Escort guests to the front desk or valet area as needed.

Assist with luggage deliveries and pickups to and from guest rooms.

Provide directions, answer questions, and offer assistance throughout the lobby.

Proactively approach guests who may need assistance.

Afternoon Shift – Lobby Staircase (Lower Level)

Maintain a consistent presence at the bottom of the main lobby staircase.

Welcome arriving guests and assist with carrying luggage up the stairs.

Direct or escort guests to the front desk.

Assist with luggage deliveries and pickups to and from guest rooms.

Provide directions, answer guest questions, and assist with general guest needs.

Maintain a welcoming, professional, and attentive lobby presence.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous hotel, bellman, valet, or hospitality experience preferred.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Friendly, professional appearance and positive attitude.

Compensation

Base Pay:$10.00 per hour + Tips
