A Sandwich Artist greets and serves guests, prepares products, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. The Subway Sandwich Artist position offers a pay scale with a base hourly rate of $20.00.

*This position is 100% on-site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests cheerfully and helpfully, preparing their orders
• Understand menu items thoroughly and explain them accurately to guests
• Use Point of Sale system to record orders, process payments, and give change
• Perform cash-in procedures, accounting for all cash and products during shifts
• Prepare food neatly, following formulas and timing standards
• Check and restock products to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift
• Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during all food-related activities
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and service areas and equipment
• Adhere to quality standards, formulas, and procedures as per the SUBWAY Operations Manual
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
• Perform light paperwork duties as assigned
• Complete online coursework on the University of SUBWAY as directed

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals in English
