From moving vehicles smoothly, safely, and efficiently, Valets represent the dealership in a professional and friendly manner. Our ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, a team player, has excellent communication skills, and approaches every task with a positive attitude. If you have those qualities, we can teach you the rest!

This is an entry-level position with opportunities to learn about the automotive industry. The Car Wash Valet is responsible for washing all vehicles serviced by the Service department before the vehicle is returned to the guest. At Longo, the opportunities are endless and can promote from within into roles such as a Service Consultant, Service Technician, Sales Consultant, and more.

The Car Wash Valet position has a pay scale including a base hourly rate of $17.50.

This position is 100% on-site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Wash the exterior of vehicles after servicing.
• Ensure each vehicle is thoroughly clean before delivery to the guest.
• Keep finished vehicles organized throughout the lot.
• Maintain smooth traffic flow through the wash rack.
• Ensure all tools are in good condition.
• Assist in other areas of the Service department as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and practices.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professional appearance.
• Report to work on time and ready to serve guests.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work well with the public.
• Valid CA driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Physical Demands: The physical demands include frequently bending, stretching, reaching, working outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and operating motor vehicles and equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
