Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our cashier team! The Business Office Admin/Vehicle Cashier is responsible for collecting payments for vehicle purchases and dealership transactions. If you speak another language, please let us know! The position offers a Pay Scale with a Base Hourly Wage of $18.00.

*This position is 100% on-site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record cash, checks, and credit card payments from guests.
• Open and close shifts; weekend and holiday work required.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests.
• Reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Address guest questions regarding payments or refer them to appropriate personnel.
• Handle guest complaints with professionalism and refer unresolved issues.
• Perform administrative tasks as directed by management.
• Maintain high ethical standards and an organized workspace.
• Present a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person.
• Preferably have at least one year of customer service and cashiering experience.
• Be proficient in basic mathematics and their application.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Be able to pay close attention to detail, follow instructions, and work well with the public.

Physical Demands

The physical requirements include:

• Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; talking and hearing.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
• Moving and lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
• Adjusting positions to perform tasks in confined spaces.
• Remaining stationary or standing/sitting for extended periods.
