Job summary

Cambridge Lakes Learning Center in Hampshire Township, IL, seeks a licensed educator to join our faculty. The role involves designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned to our values, partnering with families and colleagues, and upholding professional responsibilities as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Daily hours 7:30am-4:00pm, classroom-based with active student interaction. Required qualifications include Sub License; PEL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sub License is required for this role.
• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) is preferred.

Professional Faculty Role, Required Skills & Competencies

At Cambridge Lakes Learning Center, all faculty are learners. In this role, you will,

• Design and deliver engaging, learning experiences aligned to our values, challenge every student, and inspire excellence across all content areas and grade levels.
• Employ a range of research-based instructional strategies aligned to our instructional model that support inquiry, project-based, and experiential approaches to address the whole child and support the growth of all learners.
• Partner with colleagues, families, and school leadership to implement curriculum, communicate student progress, and contribute to a culture of shared responsibility.
• Engage fully in all professional responsibilities as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Daily hours are 7:30am-4:00pm
• Classroom-based with regular interaction throughout the school.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift, move, and/or support up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

• $24.67/hour
• Sign on bonus eligible
