Job summary

Cambridge Lakes Learning Center is seeking a Preschool Faculty member to design and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned to our core values. You will employ instructional strategies that support inquiry, project-based, and experiential approaches for the whole child while partnering with families and leadership to align curriculum and communicate progress.

Qualified candidates have an Associate's degree in teaching (or equivalent) and experience as an early childhood educator.

Professional Faculty Role, Required Skills & Competencies

Qualifications

• Preferred Associate's degree in teaching from an accredited institution in the appropriate education area.
• Experience as an early childhood educator.
• As an early childhood educator, you are responsible for providing safe and developmentally appropriate programs that are aligned with all relevant federal and state initiatives.

Preferred

• Professional Educator License (PEL);
• B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution;
• Seeking experience with play-based, experiential learning, project-based learning, inquiry approaches, or specialized pedagogies.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Meet the standards outlined in the contract
• Classroom-based with regular interaction throughout the school.
• Attendance at meetings and events outside regular school hours.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift, move, and/or support up to 50 pounds.

Salary Range: $30,000-$42,000+ Placement within the range is determined by relevant education, professional experience, and applicable certifications.
