Job summary

Southern Shores Realty is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Rental Manager to oversee our long-term rental program. The role focuses on tenant satisfaction, lease administration, and maximizing rental income while ensuring compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, an active NC real estate license, and experience in property management. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Active NC Real Estate License is required.
Experience in property management, especially long-term rentals, is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of local rental laws and best practices.
Ability to handle tenant issues professionally and tactfully.
Proficiency with Streamline (or similar) PM software and MS Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of long-term rentals, including tenant relations and leases.
Screen tenants, perform background checks, and coordinate lease signings.
Ensure properties are well-maintained; coordinate repairs and inspections.
Enforce lease terms and manage tenant disputes professionally.
Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and tenant data.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely work.
Stay informed on local rental laws and market trends to optimize strategies.
