Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and offices, while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, following infection control procedures, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided; prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required, with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Residency within the service area.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
