Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, while upholding infection control and safety guidelines.

The role requires good communication with residents and staff, a positive attitude, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior housekeeping required; experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with residents, staff, and guests.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies must be complied with.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; stand, bend, walk for long periods.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Compliance with infection control and safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
